4K SHOWCASE

2026 Camp Highlights

FILMMAKING

Throughout the session, campers experienced various forms of video projects. Please click on your child's corresponding group number to view their work.

CODING & MAKER

This summer’s Coding & Maker class brought coding and engineering to life through hands-on STEAM challenges! Campers learned JavaScript by creating their own interactive apps, experimented with DC motors to build moving projects, designed and tested their own boats, explored the physics behind roller coasters, and tackled a variety of creative engineering challenges. Through building, testing, and problem-solving, campers developed critical thinking, creativity, and real-world STEM skills while having fun bringing their ideas to life.

SCREEN PRINTING

Campers explored multi-color printing, which involves layering different screens to create vibrant designs. They worked in groups to print on a variety of substrates including posters, fabric, tote bags, and t-shirts. Throughout the process, they used industry-standard equipment such as 4-color printing presses, commercial heat presses, flash dryers, conveyor dryers, and other professional tools.

BUILDING TRADES

This summer’s Building Trades class introduced campers to practical construction skills through hands-on projects. Younger campers (Groups 1–5) learned how PVC pipes connect to channel water, built cardboard creations using a child-friendly tabletop saw designed for cardboard, and assembled their projects with kid-safe screws and tools. Older campers (Groups 6–10) explored home repair by installing shutoff valves on copper pipes, framing walls with 2×4 lumber, mounting drywall, hanging picture frames, and learning the basics of using a power drill. Every project encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and confidence while giving campers a taste of real building trades.

CULINARY

This summer’s Culinary class gave campers the chance to build confidence in the kitchen while preparing tasty favorites like pancakes, homemade scones, and pita bread pizzas. Along the way, they practiced essential kitchen safety, learned basic cooking and baking techniques, and explored the importance of measuring, teamwork, and following recipes—all while having fun creating delicious treats to enjoy.

EMBROIDERY

Campers used a technique called "punch needling" by using embroidery hoops, needles, yarn, and a lot of patience! The end result were some beautiful mug rugs (coasters) and bag charms. All ten groups also had a helping hand in designing and tufting our 2026 Camp Rug.

VISUAL ARTS

Drawing, coloring, painting, gluing, and crafting. Campers worked on a plethora of projects including decorative boxes, vases, animals, and much more!.
