Summer Camp 2020 Update: June 7th, 2020

Dear Camp 4K Families,

Thank you for everyone's patience as we're still working out the details on operating camp this summer, but at a more limited capacity.

We're thinking about the possibility of taking Camp 4K outdoors! The structure of camp will look different from our traditional two-week sessions. Instead, families will have the flexibility of choosing either our one or two-day packages. Before we open enrollment, we would like to gauge the interest level in families.

***Here are some details about our outings. Each one will run for approximately 5-6 hours. We are aiming to start on the week of June 22 and potentially longer depending on families' interest.

Tour de Bay (bikes required)
Incoming 3rd Grade to 7th Grade

Stroll through the city and bike through its historic landmarks. Learn about our city's rich history as campers experience bike trails that include some of the following: Golden Gate Park, Embarcadero Waterfront, "The Wiggle," Twin Peaks, Mission Murals, and more!

The Ink Experience & Outdoor Olympics (Golden Gate Park)
Incoming 2nd Grade to 7th Grade

Get creative and prepare to get your hands dirty with projects in screen printing, woodblock printing, painting, and tie-dye! Also, engage in group activities, sports, and challenges!

Please let us know if this is something you'll be interested in by messaging us at info@camp4k.com.

Thank you,
Camp 4K Team

Summer Camp 2020 Update: May 30th, 2020

Dear Camp 4K Families,

With the end of school approaching and with the recent updates from the city regarding a possible June 15th reopening of summer camps, we wanted to update families regarding Camp 4K. According to the latest notice from the school district on May 20th, "The District has determined that SFUSD school buildings will not be available for public access this summer." With that said, we will convene as a team to discuss possible summer plans and decide whether we will operate camp at some capacity and will make a decision by June 7th.

Thank you everyone for your patience!

All the best,

Camp 4K Team

Summer Camp 2020 Update: April 17th, 2020

Dear Camp 4K Families,

We love planning and running summer camps and have been anticipating our launch of Camp 4K's five year anniversary with a handful of new projects and activities! However, we understand this is an especially hard time on parents and families with so much going on in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis. Camper safety has always remained our top priority, especially during this unprecedented time. While we are keeping a close eye on updates and holding out hope that things will turn around without too much interruption to our summer sessions, we are also prepared to make any necessary considerations if they don't.

If you have already registered and camp cannot happen, we have several options for families.

1. Rollover your credit for Summer 2021 or future use

2. Donate 100%

3. Request a full refund (minus $25 processing fee) by May 1st

*If a refund request is not made by May 1st, your credit will automatically be rolled over for future use.

Please let us know by filling us this form on what you decide or email us at info@camp4k.com and we'll gladly assist you. Thank you for your patience during these challenging times, and we can't wait to reconnect soon!

All the best,

Camp 4K Team
